Every Wednesday morning Alan Colville leads a group on a series of local Scenic Walks in the San Gabriel Valley—walks that include Descanso Gardens, the Los Angeles Arboretum, Lacey Park, Hahamonga Watershed Park, the Lower Arroyo, and more.
Since 2017 Alan has led the Scenic Walks as a volunteer with the Pasadena Senior Center. Each walk lasts around an hour-and-a-half and include some of the most accessible and beautiful trails in Southern California. At 94, Alan is a wonderful and beloved trail leader, organizer, and guide!
